With the release of Les Miserables today, Tamsen Fadal caught up with Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne and Samantha Barks for the second half of the two-part cast interview.

With such accomplished stars like Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway gracing the screen, Seyfried said working with the star-studded cast was a “dream come true.”

Seyfriend also accredited the director’s knack for adapting the classic musical for the big screen, saying, “Tom Hooper is a genuis. I don’t know who could have done it this way.”

Redmayne mentioned the rigorous audition process and called Jackman a “noble man,” saying that he bought lottery tickets for the entire cast and crew when the movie’s depressing story line would affect their present mood and well being
